Parents’ Association
2023-24 PA President: Jen Camp
The North Cross School Parents’ Association (PA) serves to identify and organize parent-volunteer opportunities, to act as goodwill ambassadors, to provide additional educational opportunities and activities, to serve as an advisory group, and to bring into closer relation the home and the school for the students, faculty, administration, and the parents of North Cross School. The PA is a great way to meet other parents and to become involved in making school events successful and enriching for our students.
Meeting Dates
The Parents' Association meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Beck Boardroom, unless otherwise communicated. All North Cross parents are welcome to attend the meetings and we encourage you to be involved in any committee of your choosing. The NCS PA works with the Admission Office, Boosters, the Development Office, Friends of the Arts, The Affinity Group, and helps with many of the school-wide events that happen throughout the year, such as Homecoming and Family Fun Nights.
Take the Hill 5K and Fun Run
Take the Hill is the North Cross School Parents’ Association's primary fundraiser. Money raised with this fall event helps fund new equipment for science laboratories, send children on special field trips, and so much more. To learn more, click here.

Athletic BoostersThe Boosters raise funds that are used to support the school's athletic program. Run by parents, the group's mission is to enhance the athletic environment for all students so they may have a positive, rewarding, and fulfilling athletic experience as part of their overall education at North Cross School. Boosters volunteers operate admission gates and concessions stands at various athletic events and serve in scorekeeping and other volunteer capacities as needed.
Watch out for our annual Greenery Sale each November and December! |
Friends of the Arts (FOTA)“Friends of the Arts” (FOTA) was formed in 2008 by a group of parents as a “booster club” for the fine arts department. Everyone in the North Cross School community is a member. FOTA’s mission is to promote and support the school’s fine arts programs and its student musicians, artists, actors and actresses.
Each year, FOTA raises money to provide resources needed by the fine arts departments that are not provided in the School’s annual operating budget. In addition, it hosts events that bring parents and families together to enjoy the “arts” and creates additional fine arts programs that benefit the students. |
